One or two members have mentioned the same bookmaker as being fucking useless and tinpot.
After that 2 horse race at Cheltenham just now.
UNIBET have cut My Drogo to 5-1 for the Marsh & Gin on Lime to 8-1 for the Mares Chase.
They are not interesting in any positive sense whatsoever, so any mention of this is now banned.

Ruby obviously felt those 2 horses were fine, they weren't. I just think she should have taken more time. Let her trot for longer than a few seconds, let her catch her breath then take the last fence. Seemed like she was in a rush probably because of the adrenaline and it's a split second decision. If it happened again I think she'll take more time.

I doubt when the rules were changed about remounting a fallen horse this was never even thought about. As already said no rules were broke. I don't think we will see the like for many years to come. But that's down to the Jockey Club to sort.

She did nothing wrong under the rules as they stand and I'm sure that connections and punters are happy. However, it did look ugly and I thought that the stewards were quite right to advise that she could have taken more time to fully assess the mare's fitness to continue.

There was a very interesting batch of horses purchased at the Tattersalls Cheltenham sale that all came out of the same PTP race.
1st Present Soldier sold for ?300k
2nd Arctic Bresil sold for ?305k
3rd Master Chewy sold for ?300k
I don’t think I’ve seen three horses from the same race purchased for such amounts before but that is not the only reason to follow these three. The fourth home, An Mhi, who is a half brother to Slate House, was trained by Gordon Elliott for Eddie O’Leary. Apparently Gordon & Eddie’s horse ‘couldn’t be beat’ which means the horses in front must have been very decent. Gordon bought the first home (Present Soldier) so he’s one to follow for sure and could be another for the Morans given the price tag.
Update:
Present Soldier bought for KTDA
Master Chewy going the Twisters snr for the owners of I Like To Move It.Last edited by JackieMoon33; 12 November 2021, 10:06 PM.
