Kev is sorting.
I've been doing write ups on my singles diary today and it's been painful. When I have to cut and paste information in I keep getting an error message and it doesn't allow me to continue without coming out completely. The problem is it's not autosaving so I've been losing the stuff I've been doing.
I've got three races done today (comments and additional info welcome), but I've just been doing the Pertemps and I've just given up out of frustration.Luck is a dividend of sweat. The more I sweat, the luckier I get.

Apologies for the delay everyone, I know it's frustrating.

Interesting interview with the Chief National Hunt Handicapper in Ireland regarding why the British have struggled of late in the festival handicaps as well as pointing out to some flaws in the British system as he sees it. Only takes about 5 mins to read but it raised some points about the British race system I hadn't considered before ie. proportion of h'cap races versus Ireland

I think he makes some good points, there's no question winners and placed horses in handicaps in the UK are put up too much and this has to contribute to so many UK based horses being uncompetitive when it matters, and in the Irish races of 25 runners it has to be easier to hide a horse away and work his/her mark down.
I'm not expecting a power shift any time soon that's for sure...
