Originally posted by Topofthegame2021 View PostHi guys, I’ve been really quiet on here of late, I’ve been taking some time off the forum and enjoying spending my winnings and spending some much needed time with friends and family now that the restrictions have been easing in the UK.
We all share a common passion on here for racing and I’ve decided I wanted to start writing about the sport I love so much, so I have started a blog. I’m going to try and keep it regularly updated and discuss big talking points and generally have a view towards Cheltenham 2022.
My first post is on NH horses to follow throughout 21/22, have a read and let me know your thoughts. Hopefully it will get you excited for the upcoming season.
(As a lifelong Aston Villa fan it has also kept my mind away from the Jack Grealish saga lol )

There's some excellent value there on horses with genuine win chances, and I like the fact that you've focused on that type of horse rather than put up the blindingly obvious which the pundits tend to do.
I’m really looking forward to my next post which should be in a couple of weeks!

I know we're primarily a jumps forum but I still watch a fair bit of flat racing without betting on 99.9% of it. Is there anyone else who watched the F1 'drive to survive' documentary series on Netflix as bemused as I am to see how much sponsorship of Newmarket racing 'Rich Energy' seem to be doing recently? Surely someone at Newmarket saw the series too?! I hope they were paid upfront... The bloke behind the brand still seems as dodgy as ever if social media is anything to go by and you still only seem able to buy the stuff via their own website or amazon, which by reviews very few seem to have done.
Even if you aren't into F1 by the way, which i'm not massively, it's definitely worth watching, loads of great and surprisingly candid behind the scenes stuff.

I believe that Ferrari and Mercedes shunned it initially for the first season, then they only got interested when the season took off massively so makes it more interesting.
Either way - enjoyed it so much (as did my wife I should say!), we now look forward to watching F1 each weekend. A dual screen set up of horse racing and F1 the norm now. Highly recommended.

Anyone who is yet to buy tickets for the fez, price rise again tomorrow. If your undecided for whatever reason my advice would be just buy them as you'll have no problem getting rid of them closer to the festival if you have a change of heart(highly unlikely for members on here)
