That's how such things usually work. Seems fair enough to me, not too lenient, not too harsh. 15k fine is a lot less than most expected but they probably have guidelines to follow on such stuff.

Turns out it's not a 15k fine as such. that's the court costs figure.

Seems fair enough. Misses all the big spring festivals and the prize money on offer so a large fine wouldn't have been appropriate.

What does the ban entail? Does he now have to leave the yard for the 6 months?

Hes basically been banned until the start of the next jumps season

He’s not appealed so ban kicks in 9th March - not a chance the BHA will do anything less so zero chance of GE name being next to any runner this year...
