Unrelated to whatever Gordon or his photoshopped double are accused of here, the most wonderful experience I ever had on a racecourse was standing in the middle of the course for the Potato race many years ago, watching Ruby fall at the last flight on Black Harry landing some 20 yards from his horse, sprinting back and immediately sitting on the horses neck.
I didn’t immediately understand what he was doing but someone near me was a vet and she explained he dd it to restrict the horses movement, ultimately in preventing the horse from getting up he saved his life.
Ruby then stayed with the horse for fully 20 mins and eventually, after treatment, led the horse back to the stables, I can’t tell you how much Ruby went up in my estimations that day.
His next ride ? Kauto Star in the Gold Cup in the following race...

This forum is for people to discuss horse racing and all the realms that brings up.
I am not worthy of being the moral compass of what we can or cannot discuss.
Whilst I don't want a toxic enviroment, I respect our members enough to think they can discuss the topic publically.

don't think he was sat on a dead horse that time though.
However, he is thick, and a bit of a lad.
He could easily get caught off guard.
He looks like he has a decent heart though.
There are actually a fair few photos of him doing it, but usually when he's won horse races not when a horse is lying flat on a gallop
