Not a criticism so please don't take it that way but given this Forum's status and connections etc, for future years is it feasible for the entries to be made available today eg obtained and published by a member, rather than getting snippets which although very helpful is not the same as seeing a definitive list.
I'm not sure how easy/practical this is.
archie might be able to confirm if this is possible without compromising anything/anyone.
If it can be achieved it would need to be posted private/members...

Yeah I suppose all it would need is to check with whoever sent them through if they're happy to share it...

To be honest I got them sent through and immediately started going through to check for (my significant number!) of non runners, I didn't even check if they'd been posted on here.

      Will certainly see though

      • As much as it's beneficial, I would suggest that posting the entries before they're published would not be a good idea on a public forum.
Luck is a dividend of sweat. The more I sweat, the luckier I get.

            • I think it's outrageous that bookies no doubt have this info today and the vast majority of the betting public are still in the dark (me included, apart from snippets gleaned from twitter).

It's a disgrace to the sport.

There is absolutely no reason why the entries should not be made public the same day.

Why the one day lag - in an internet age this could be done in seconds so everyone gets this info at the same time.

Gives the bookies a huge edge over punters.

There are millions of reasons why bookies are so keen to sponsor yards...

It is scandalous that they now have the list of horses entered but haven't reformed their markets. Betting should be suspended from close of entries, until they are officially released.

Not sure how this is allowed to happen.

It is scandalous that hundreds/thousands of bets will have been placed today on horses in races they aren’t entered...

Your mates at 888 actually cut prices of a lot that weren't entered deliberately also.
Which shows how they use oddschecker blue to entice.

Filthy tactic, but they won’t be alone in using it...
