Just looked at the BBC weather forecast for Cheltenham for the next 14 days and they say it's going to be dry from now right through to Monday March 8.
I certainly don't place much trust in long range forecasts.
And as RC says, a wet week between March 9 and 16 could leave us back with a soft ground Festival.
All I'm saying is that after a very wet winter when most of the key races have been run on soft/heavy......we COULD end up with good to soft/good soft in places conditions which have been almost entirely absent all winter.
Seeing some of the comments in response to your original post made me wonder if some thought the Festival was starting a week earlier than it is.Last edited by Rhinestone_Cowboy; 23 February 2021, 09:44 AM.

I'd probably sooner do that, although obviously Colreevy is probably running for you too....
I don't think there is much juice in at 9/2 really, assuming you've already backed his main MNH horses?
