I find it staggering Ice. Even claiming fraud (at which I don't see what they're referring to), I would find that staggering.
We talked about this on private message ryan, fraud is the only excuse they will have for withholding funds so as long as you haven’t had friends accessing the account or you are the main money man for Al Queda what they’ve done is wrong.
They clearly have their own ideas and aren’t sharing them with you, this can only be resolved through the GC...
Have just complained through this thanks Ista. Do you know if it normally takes over the 28 days etc? Would much prefer to know what positions I have before Cheltenham without having doubt on them.

I got into a dispute with betway about 18 months ago and from memory the GC came back to me within about 10 days, but the world looks very different these days so you might get unlucky.
I guess there’s no harm in dropping PP an email (someone provided an address earlier in the thread) saying you have complained to the GC and you await their response but in the meantime you would like to see all open bets that you’ve placed, it would then also be worth sending a copy of that request to the GC.
GC will contact PP who will then be obliged to declare all their findings that led to your account closure decision being made, they will also be challenged on their communication with you which is clearly poor.
Every chance the end result is an apology from PP and a free bet as gesture of goodwill, not sure what else they can offer but if nothing is forthcoming then the threat of social media, newspapers etc will be open to you...

Cheers for the response Ista. I hope your dispute with Betway got resolved.
I raised a case through the GC's adjudicator Resolver and got a response on my case that the email address is no longer valid. Speaking to a 'manager' on Betfair, he's confirmed that this is the final position from the company, and is currently raising a third party adjudication case internally on my behalf.

The GC responded to me within 10 days as well, when I complained about the William Hill Open bets showing incorrect data. They also suggested I raise a complaint in parallel via Resolver https://www.resolver.co.uk/rights-guide/gambling

What a way to spend a Thursday evening
Might be worth asking for a Subject Access Request. They are then legally forced to hand over all details they have on you within 30 days under GDPR as the data controller (make sure to say you want everything including account notes)
You can find some interesting stuff in there as I found from 365 which can be useful at some stage. Whatever notes they make on your account about you etc legally have to be handed over to you

Cheers Norton.
I've got to wait for a 'deadlock' email from someone at Betfair before I can raise a case. Hopefully that doesn't take too long.
How can a bookmaker write to a client and say we will not allow you to draw out more than you’ve put in?
Or, in other words, we will not allow you to ever win!
...and if your bets do win more than you’ve deposited, we won’t pay it out to you.
Oh, and by the way we’re bringing in new rules, where we have to know how much you earn, how much you’ve got in bank accounts/ISAs, and what your wife’s jewellery is worth.
