I made this point before earlier in the season but will make it briefly again now in light of all the BDD chat. I can’t help but feel for the on the ball antepost punters which is pretty much everyone on this forum does the way info that is very slowly leaked from the Mullins yard about injured horses not actually help us for 2 reasons:

1) We stop backing horses as soon as these rumours start emanating and
2) We normally have the option to cash out, admittedly you may have to make an early call before 365 in particular suspend

If there was literally no information then an official announcement the chance of being quick enough to cash out anything would be highly unlikely.

I understand while saying this about issues around the integrity of the sport and how this slow leaking of info can only be detrimental to antepost punters who are not on the ball the way most of us are on the forum, but wanted to question the fact that official comms may not benefit us in anyway.

Yep, I agree and I only just missed the Benie cash out too. But profited from Ferny Hollow.
Patrick though and the questioning of him was poor.
Knowing the movements on exchange's and twitter rumours I'd have nailed the little squirmy fucker via incessant zoom questioning.

I wondered this as I have Magic Tricks NRNB with Paddy Power and he was taken out the entries about 3 weeks or ago now but they haven’t refunded yet.

Oddly they have refunded my NRNB Benie bets for the mares hurdle - but haven’t refunded yet for other horses that are not entered in races

Betfair done this for me with Benie yesterday, all I can think is when we get 48hr decs we will receive the other refunds.
