I made this point before earlier in the season but will make it briefly again now in light of all the BDD chat. I can’t help but feel for the on the ball antepost punters which is pretty much everyone on this forum does the way info that is very slowly leaked from the Mullins yard about injured horses not actually help us for 2 reasons:
1) We stop backing horses as soon as these rumours start emanating and
2) We normally have the option to cash out, admittedly you may have to make an early call before 365 in particular suspend
If there was literally no information then an official announcement the chance of being quick enough to cash out anything would be highly unlikely.
I understand while saying this about issues around the integrity of the sport and how this slow leaking of info can only be detrimental to antepost punters who are not on the ball the way most of us are on the forum, but wanted to question the fact that official comms may not benefit us in anyway.
