I remember the controversy over accusations that Ruby had too much say in where Mullins ran them,so to enable Ruby having a better book of rides. this was widely used when claiming the O'learys moved their animals but it is now put down to training fee's solely,.....
Was that what people said? The version I heard was the training fees went up cos the O'Leary's asked for stuff to stop laying about

No one knew the real reason in the early days, there were no statements issued until a few days past when the fee's were given as the reason.

          Interesting.
Odds against for 17 Irish winners looks OK, probably equates to about 4/6 for 16 or more, that would be a decent play I think.
This is PP though so 20 quid is about as much as you’ll get on and they’ll have you restricted at the next review meeting.
Could do with these markets being added to the exchange...

          • Like many others, I'm finding it very hard to see past the fav's in a lot of races right now...

Good tweet from Gault stats today for some perspective:

2020 Festival... 16 favs in 18 conditions races were 3/1 and under. Only two won! Envoi Allen and Epatante. From six odds on shots there was only one winner! WPM saddled seven favs 3/1 and under and none won!

Staggering when you read that back. Its hard to see past all the big fans at the minute but history suggests a good few won't win!

            • Simon Rowlands looks at how the Dublin Racing Festival winners, at the same distances on each day, compared on the clock.

Good stuff from Rowlands and puts some of the performances in Dublin in perspective.

Would come up in your notifications if it was your post.

I can see, so you could ask me to tell you? Although that's not a service I'm keen to offer generally speaking

I'd say you have enough to be dealing with without those messages from everyone haha thanks anyway!

No big deal just wondering if you could more out of interest

I click on the 'number' and it pops up, but I don't think that's for everyone...

Stupid really, I don't know why that has to be secret, or why the 'default' is secret. I might find a button one day

Just about perfect I’d say BC.
They came to agreement many years ago there would be three clear weeks between the festivals so there was sufficient recovery time, 25 days is as big as it gets...
