Yeah I backed fantasio dalene for the martin pipe the day before he ran last week I think, thinking I would have cashout but there was no cashout as soon as I placed the bet, the only time thats ever happened to me with them. I thought maybe because it was the first bet I placed with them for a handicap maybe they have different rules for handicaps or something, but I still dont have cashout on him now.

    • Same here RR, very strange to say the least, I said this about a week ago as I had three bets that I placed in minutes that have no cash out. Funny enough one was FD and a trixie. I’ve placed bets since that all have cash out.

Don’t take it personally, I think I’m right in saying that cash out had never been an option on this particular market. The theory is that it was origainlly set up for just one runner to satisfy an Upping the Ante tip. I expect it is literally requires somebody to flick a switch to enable it as I doubt no cash out is intentional. I’d flag with customer service if you are ever desperate to cash out something in that race.

Anyone backing Upping the Ante tips deserves to be punished.

          • What price Royal Pagaille for the Betfair Chase next season?

If he was priced up 8/1 or bigger I'd be really interested.

Just checked and William Hill have him priced up at 10/1.

              That'll do me.

                • Also RP is 20/1 for the King George with Unibet, not the same liklihood of soft/heavy ground as the Betfair Chase but even so.....

                  • Has anyone seen RP priced up for the betfair anywhere other than Hills? Can’t get anything on at all with Hills, requested via sky bet this morning and was told it wasn’t a market they would offer till nearer the time

Also put a request in with Sky and they said they'd get back to me. They have BDM priced up at 6/1 in a request a bet market so I think they'll offer a price.

I'm interested in the Betfair/KG double prices too.

                      • Thanks FM, thought it was surprising they didn’t offer anything this morn.

I think the worse bet related to the King George is Envoi Allen to win ‘both King George & Cheltenham Gold Cup 21/22 - 16/1.

I’ll give odds of 50/1 Envoi Allen even lining up at Kempton for the King George, regardless of the double with the Gold Cup.

He’s only raced in England twice - only when it matters. At the Festival.

Savill’s Chase only at Christmas if he go’s 3 mile chasing.

You’ll lay 50/1 for him to turn up? Really? I’ll have some of that (albeit I too would expect he’d go Savills).

Look, the price any bookmaker would even give you on Envoi Allen running in the King George would be hovering around evens money right now - hell, he’s only 7 or 8/1 to win it 11 months in advance.

That, of course, is the bookmakers right to cover that eventuality.

My odds would be 50/1 on the basis that there is a 99.9% chance he will not run in the King George.

But there is a 99.9% chance, should he be running over 3 miles, his Christmas trip will be in Leopardstown.

                                I’d be sure of it.
