Am I right in thinking that the early entries for the Gold Cup, Ryanair and Champion Chase are due next week? I made a note months ago that the Gold Cup ones would be due on/around 6th Jan and the other two races on Jan 7th, but assume I was just estimating. Can't find anything official.

To clarify
If a horse won it’s first race on 6th may 2019 could it still be a novice this season ?

Don't think so.
The extensions, allowing horses to run in novice hurdles, were only allowed part way into the season on both sides of the sea.
Pretty sure they have both expired now.

With Cheltenham new years day cancelled, why would they not just say we'll try and run the race's on Sunday instead ?
It looks dry for the next few days.
There are no crowds to worry about and staff issues should not be an issue, and trainers have sufficient notice.

didn’t think they would of sacrificed his novice status in may

albeit he picked up a few handy wins

would of been a Kim Muir/National Hunt Chase horse for me

Friday's Relkeel Hurdle moved to Kempton , Dipper Novices Chase moved to Wincanton both on Jan 9th.

I can see why they like saving feature races from abandoned meetings but switching to flat speedy right handed tracks makes conditions the polar opposite to what they were originally.
Why not add them to the big Warwick card on 16th ? Or even add to the New Years Eve card at the same track...

Not sure where to put this but on William Hill’s open bets do your older Cheltenham ones show the returns the same as the stake you have on the bet?

Worried they will shaft me for Monkfish any rac from last March and plenty of other good ones.

They said on the chat it will be fine and settled correctly but I don’t trust any of them pus I have 140 open bets for the festival with them.

Haven’t been in my account since they heavily restricted me but have just had a look and the returns are showing as exactly half the total stake.
All my bets were placed April-September.

Another problem is it doesn’t show the enhanced odds boosts either so there’s no way of proving that the bet was boosted.

Some may be able to cross check against their diaries, I'll leave until they settle and have the fight then if there's a fight to be had...
