Not to mention Liverpool winning the Prem in 2020 , top of the table now. Could get decent odds on Bayern Munich winning the CL Final. but maybe Harry Kane really is just a Jonah of proportions even out of the reach of the Matrix to overcome. It seems now days (barring the odd specialist novice) that its universally thought horses can easily switch between the supreme and the BB. Does that extra 4f make that much of a difference to a novice hurdler?
So let's ditch the Ballymore and then we have a much clearly picture of a plodder or a sprinter. Surely the choice between 2m and 3m is not so easy.
Because of all this bullshit with ballyburn. Not only is boring as hell, it'll be costing the punter a fortune on exchanges alone.

Totally agree, make that and the Turners both Novice handicaps instead and ban all other novices from the other handicaps.

They should reduce the novice races to two and run them over 2m2f and 2m6f. Alongside this ban all first season novices from handicap hurdles and chases, regardless of number of runs.

To be fair I get the sentiment Silverbirch was getting at and I agree the diluted festival creates these dilemmas every year, just not sure the Supreme and Baring Bingham is the right analogy.
He is right it gets boring..............unless you're the right side of the market of course....
Like let's be honest, it's all a game of chess with trainers and owners trying the pick the easiest race to win. 10% of it is about the actual distance making a difference.
Don't get me wrong, it's all part of the fun, but surely this is all getting a bit ridiculous? Pick a fucking race and let us decide who wins.
