Just seemed a weird thing to do, as someone has to have consciously decided to enable cash out on those specific horses again?
On Ballyburn specifically they want to tempt people to cash on either race maybe, to reduce liabilities.
Does seem odd but Paddy's messed with their cash out last season right up until the run up.
Nearly all the time my bets are never over the initial stake, even though other punters I know do have profitable cash out options. So they definitely have some sophistication as we'd expect.
But every now and then last year the cash outs increased !
One to watch and highlight on here if they start playing similar games this year.

      Yeah absolutely.

Would be interesting to know who they have turned cash out back on for though. I would be very interested if the Ballyburn (Supreme) cash out is also back on...

I've got the same mate. They are kindly letting me cash out an 18/1 ticket for 50% profit.

Such a difference between the elite jockeys & rest ….and sometimes really shows ….part of it is they ride more good horses & learn what to do when

I just think he lacks a racing brain, which unfortunately, you can't learn if it isn't instinctual after 1500+ rides. All the best to him though but I always add a few pounds when seeing him aboard.

It really didn't help the lad having Cobden beside him on Handstands, giving a typical Cobden ride, with perfect position throughout and then holding on to as much as possible for as long as possible.

                    • I try to do my best for the forum. I don’t post my opinion, but facts from owners or trainers. I’ve done my best, but I’m not sure that I can do any more.
                      good luck

In case anyone is doubting the comment about "facts from owners and trainers". I cashed my impaire et passe turners bets off the back of comments from GV and billymag.

Out of interest, who do you think is willies supreme horse GV? Have you heard a name mentioned?

Don't let a few posts get you down mate. Everyone's entitled to their opinions of course, but there a lot of people basically guessing at the minute.

I hope my comment was taken as intended, I do genuinely think a Mullins bingo thread is worthwhile because it's taking up 90% of the novice hurdle and novice chase threads at the minute. I have no idea what info you may or may not have but I'd much rather one comment a day with some actual info rather than 100 of people second guessing where Ballyburn, Fact To File, whoever else, are going to go.

As Odin says, any info you do have is probably appreciated a hell of a lot more than you realise.
