      • Is Jamie Codd still riding and, if so, do we expect him to have rides in the NH Chase, Kim Muir and Bumper at the festival? I thought he had retired from point to points but I thought he was still riding. I havent seen any announcement about complete retirement.

Also worth noting Harry Swan wont be able to ride in the NHC due to not winning enough chases in his career (p2ps dont count) so likely Rob James be on the gordon number 1

              • What podcasts do people listen to for racing? I've really disengaged from them generally (eats too much into my reading time, which I prefer) but they all seem to have faults; Duke is a terrible addition to Weighed In, which has just become myopic insider racing bubble moaning (in particular they whine about marketing a lot, and as a marketing professional I find their points infuriatingly stupid) - plus they couldn't tip a table these days, Off The Fence has Keenan who is always worth a listen but man alive Bazza is a potent insomnia cure, Racehour is ok but I find it too rough around the edges and headstrong at times, and the less said about the 3 hour kazakhstani national state broadcast the better.

What's good, particularly for Cheltenham. Wish list - mild craic, strong opinions lightly held

I really like the Jumps Show. Good honest opinions with young guys who are not full of themselves. Like watching the Finishing Line for the banter more than anything

The problem with The Finishing Line is they have a couple of pretty unlikeable people on it, and just sling out to anyone who doesn't agree with them.

I like LTR, The Jumps Show and The Race Hour, particularly the Race Hour with Dermo and when Don MacLean & Cass are on there... The Paddy Power one that's just started is great for Rory's selections, but Ruby couldn't tip a wheel barrow... His only two ante post picks are in the Ryanair FFS. UTA is brilliant imo but that's well renowned. The Betfair Cheltenham one with Daryl Carter and Kevin Blake is also fairly decent.

                    • What's the protocol for requesting a mark for a horse? Can you still just contact the BHA directly or do you have to be connections of said horse?

Last season I remember asking and they asked me if I was connected to the horse. I'd have thought, for transparency, something they are so clearly keen on, that anyone would be able to request such information that is not already available.

Feel like the finishing line has dropped off quite a bit this season

Cheltmental is good if you forgive dave his rambling on

Think he needs 2 more to qualify so maybe there's time yet. Think Gordon might be able help with that.

You can get one of those little plug in electric radiators anywhere for 50 quid
