Don’t know how much it cost to fix the problem Kev but I imagine it didn’t come cheap.
Just wondering if now would be a good time for anyone who can to chip in with a donation towards the running costs.
The virtual shut-down certainly made me realise how much I value the forum and how much it adds to our enjoyment (and knowledge) of the sport.
Far better value than buying the RP every day imo - and it’s absolutely free.
What are your thoughts Kev - should those of us who can afford it be thinking of dipping into our pocket to help bolster the FJ finances?

4 figures in total might surprise some!
The thanks I'm getting really should be to the people who are patrons and make donations that put us in the fortunate position to keep the place going (and thanks for yours earlier!)
if anyone did want to donate anything the link is here:

After Jay jay reillys win in the lanzarote I think it's worth highlighting Calico for the betfair hurdle.
He's currently still 33/1 with william hill while being 16/1 with most other bookmakers.
After today I'm sure owner/trainer combo will be full of confidence in running calico back over hurdles, on a 10lb lower mark than his current chase mark.
I believe he's better still over fences, but even if 142 is his ceiling there's no reason to believe he can't reach a similar mark over hurdles.
His backform over hurdles isn't the worst, and i believe his improvement came about from wearing cheekpieces, something he's yet to wear over hurdles.
I'd say he has a minimum 8lbs in hand, probably more with better ground.
Running him in the betfair hurdle will be a good prep for the grand annual, without affecting his chase rating and going all out for the win.
I've Had a few points e/w myself, i'd certainly encourage anyone to have a good look at him before will hill realise their mistake

Anyone know rules for qualification for festival handicap hurdles and chases?
Handicap hurdles need minimum of 4 runs. What happens if horse has had 4 runs, but completed 3 but felll or pull up in 1? Will they still qualify?

I'll chuck an 'I think' disclaimer in. But I'm fairly certain like
