Crowdfunder - Fat Jockey Forum upgrade

Hello Fat Jockeys,

Upgrading the Fat Jockey forum!: https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/fatjockeyforum

We're looking to upgrade the 'hosting CPU' so I've set up a crowdfunding project.

I would love it if you could donate using the link below to access my project page. Any contribution large or small will be hugely appreciated. Thank you.

  • ADV completely flumping again could be seen as a positive for Dinoblue going Mares Chase . However, Willie has Hauturiere for the race as well after her demolition job last time and JP has Limerick Lace for the race so they could send Dinoblue to the Champion Chase and still both have serious chances of winning the final race of the meeting. Dinoblue has been very well backed over the last few days from a high of 33's into a high of just 12's today.

    • That will be because she has an entry. I'd have thought that more money was involved in cutting her to 7/4 from 7/2 for the Mares.

As has been said before, if El Fabiolo has a problem then it's likely she'll run in the Champion but Willie is all about winners and she represents his best chance in the other race.

      • Odds dropped before entries Archie so can't put it entirely down to that. Take EF and Bonjovi out and what are you left with in the CC ?.........very little. 3rd place is up for grabs without a doubt and maybe higher should either of the front two miss the race or should something go wrong for them in it. She's very good cover for both Willie and JP. I'm not convinced she is Willie's or JP's best shot in the Mares Chase as she's yet to prove herself over 2 1/2 and the lure of the prize pot in the CC plus the prestige of placing in that race may outweigh the values of the Mares Chase.

P.S. The cut in the MC was down to ADV flumping.

        • Any news at all on Lossiemouth or Gala Marceau?? No sign of them yet. Neither took up their Relkeel entries. Where are we likely to see them ?

          • Leaving current 20-1 shot Hauturiere as his main dart would seem unlike WPM wouldn't it?

As for Dinoblue, i think Gentleman De Mee is as good a 2nd option as her. He's ran to a higher level and only reappearing last week on ground too soft. RPR 161 vs 164 Dinoblue. Perhaps she's still improving and is more consistent? However, if you are wanting to spread your bullets, GDM>CC and Dinoblue Mares is the way to go. Agree though you'd like to see her maybe tried over a bit further to be confident especially with stout stayers among the MC candidates

            • I assume ADV will still go along with Hauturiere and Instit and Brandy Love has a chase entry at the weekend so there's 4 for starters.

Not other than the entries for the Relkeel which they didnt take up

Potential targets for the top two in the market
                - Quevega Mares Hurdle the most likely option
                - Warwick have a listed mares aswell, but not sure whether Willie will want to come over for that

Willie did say he wanted to wait until xmas/new year with these two, but he is leaving it late isnt he

Willie has sent some over in late January for a g2 at Doncaster over 2m in the past I wonder whether that could be a option for one of them?

Wouldn’t be surprised to see Lossiemouth line up in the Irish Champion Hurdle as a prep race for the Mares Hurdle

                    • Both Lossiemouth and Gala Marceau's price have remained steady these last few months which gives enough confidence they're both OK and we'll see them very soon.

With IEP likely going Stayers, if she ran well in the Irish Champion could she go to the English version?

Wouldn't surprise me if this happened, to be honest.
