I've said all year that the XCC is a 'no bet' race as there are so many that can win the race and the performance of MI today has strengthened my thoughts even more. A brilliant race in prospect but impossible to back any with any confidence if they all turn up.

I agree, and the run from Minella Indo today will have given Gordon another incentive for him to run, not that he needs it, but he'll be more determined for sure.
