Take the first two out the race and you'd be looking at a comfortable victory over two 150+ horses. The last two didn't exactly pull up after the last they were ridden out when you watch the head on replay.
I can make excuses for Zanahiyr. He was given a two week break after a fairly gruelling race in the Lismullen Hurdle, plus he was made to make the running, I imagine to set it up for stablemate, Teahupoo, which clearly worked.

As for Buddy One, he is a handicapper, just 3 runs back running and losing over the same distance off 137. He clearly needs further, but he's still a handicapper, whichever way you look at it, IMO.

Jesus so now she's beating a 156 horse 9Ls and a 152 14l.....so the two in front must have Constitution Hill in trouble....

I'd say the front 3 have run in around their marks. 140, and 2x 160.

I hate this saying "take the winnner out and he/she would've beaten"....it's a completely different race without the front 2 in it to start with.

Still i wouldn't rule her out come March with the fav being a Juvenile coming into open company, albeit Mares Open...
Like others I think that Lossie may miss Cheltenham all together next year. They clearly really rate her as a potential Champion Hurdle horse for 2025 so they may just look after her this season and not make the mistake of sticking her in the deep end as a 5yo.

The vibes seem fairly strong that they’ll be going to the mares hurdle in March with Lossiemouth.

Couldn’t have her personally and much prefer love envoi and gala Marceau especially at the prices

I'm not going to be in any rush with her in the early part of the season. We'll work back from the Mares' Hurdle. That will probably be her target. I'd say she might not run before Christmas. She's doing everything well, but she's only a four-year-old and had plenty of runs last season, so she had a very busy juvenile season. We'll maybe get one or two runs into her before Cheltenham, which would be plenty. The season when horses step out of juvenile company is always tough, so I'm not going to rush her.

                  • Probably the first mention of it here on the 29th april 2023

She's been very good to us and I'm looking forward to maybe the Mares' Hurdle with Lossiemouth next year. Normally those juveniles work into staying hurdlers so it could be the Mares' Hurdle or the Stayers' Hurdle but, I just wonder, could she be a Champion Hurdle filly in two years' time. We'll see. She has huge reserves and she's sound as a pound. Half the battle of being a good horse is being sound - Willie Mullins, trainer.

Another good mention in the stable tour.

Pretty strong vibes i'd say Lobos

                    • The 11-4 best price for her to win the race is also pretty strong vibes.
And not even close to being unusual prep for a Mullins star mare.
                      It's more of an MO.

                      • Ummmm.....lots of 'probably' and 'Maybes' in there. I'd certainly not call them strong at all. I've seen all those quotes already. Thought there might be some up to date ones.

don't be silly, she'll be there, it's just whether you want to back at skinny odds.
mullins would've seen what it did for honeysuckle
and he's the master of either straight there or 1 prep and run

I'm a Buddy One fan but my fear was he had been to the well one too many times this year, and so it seemed on Sunday. It was his 15th run in 15 months, only missing three months in total when not having a run and has raced in consecutive months since July. Hopefully he is put away now till February, possibly the DRF and then look to Cheltenham and the Spring.

There are a few on here that think the same. I reckon she's a top, top Mare and way better than his other Mares at home. I'm not sure though that she'll see the 2 1/2 miles out as well as others. She looks all speed to me and is not the easiest to ride. Very headstrong. That could be her undoing if she does go for the Mares.

Omg …. Are you a teenager….there’s no ambiguity about going to Cheltenham in any of those quotes which is what you said. You said miss Cheltenham. People are trying to help you here. There is NO talk of her missing Cheltenham with the Mares cited as the most likely target. Can we agree that’s what the quotes say?
