I wouldn't even have her for a handicap after today's performance where she had everything in her favour.

She’s going back to her owners now in the hope that she will come to herself in the spring.

That's my only hope with her now in that she's a Spring horse. Still time to shine but ATM she's blotted her copy book.

I believe the trainer has stated it's the target. So as an antepost pick this helps.
Qualified today with an eyecatching ride.
Lower mark over hurdles and generally wants a race like a pertemps, big field, decent gallop.
Should get in with a small raise for today and UK tax.
His last 2 second places were against very well handicapped horses - Buddy One and Jody Ted.

Negative's would be it's an antepost bet in a handicap.
His connections are not that sexy for this particular race, so his price really ought to hold for a while. Even potentially until March. (I've backed now as I expect he may go off at roughly half that and there is a chance the form gets franked further)
His UK mark may be higher than the norm given the formlines, his chase mark etc.
The last time I backed a 33/1 shot was Constitution Hill for the Champion Hurdle 2023.
I also did a 60/1 double with Honeysuckle for the 2022 Champion Hurdle.
I have a 28/1 double coming off Master of the Seas going on to Constitution Hill this year.
So thank you for this excellent analysis and maybe the next time you think of a stupid question you will think twice.

I think about your yankee win quite often.
I remember the debate i had with you over a certain horse that year
the horse won and i was like..... yeah mr faugheen......the next day you're on the racing fucking post

Yes it would be nice to see them fish for a mark sometime soon as the extra uk tax could be a concern. My other slight concern is whether he is completely genuine? He is definitely on my radar however.

Haha I remember it well. I wasn't having Flooring Porter at all that year. Won't be making the same mistake with Crambo this year though

Can’t imagine what the forum was like when it came in.. certainly a contrast to the doom and gloom of late! Can’t be just me thinking’s it’s gone quite here after the handbags last week?

Not as clued in on your moment Faugheen but I must ask did you lose the account after it?

Id be telling everyone about that, i had a big festival that year and i still bring it up in my mates group chat just randomly, could be talking about politics and ill just show my bet slip screen shotted, im petty

but not as petty as sitting up at 2 in the morning telling someone to not ask stupid questions
