Personally,I think Ferns Lock is the play Kev

Christies horses were off/below par last year
The year before he looked a top recruit and some on here thought he should be aimed at a novice chase at the Festival

        I don’t DS,No decs in these races
I would say it is unlikely he will run the 2 horses
360 mile round trip from where he is based too

        • Anyone heard anything regarding the return to riding of Jamie Codd ?

usually see him ride Gordon’s bumper horses at Down Royal

I have not heard of an injury or retirement,it is nearly 6 months since his last mount

            • Since they brought the whip rules in Codd hasn't been as effective.

              • Conflated is a smart bet today IMO especially for those who have backed him for the XC. If he wins today then the XC is unlikely, but, you've made decent money to cover the XC stakes. If he doesn't then the XC becomes his most likely destination. I think he's a massive price today. He's the best horse in the race who needed a prep and in the last few years he's been running to RPR's more often than not at 170+. Gerri is untested in open company, hasn't had a prep and today is not his big day. I'd have Conflated and Envoi Allen ahead of him tbh. He could just win like a proper odds on shot and rubber stamp his credentials but I am taking him on for sure.

                • Icare Allen got himself qualified for the Pertemps there.

Didn't seem to be not staying that saw him in 3rd either...

Talk about a horse ridden not to win the race!

                            I had 4,5,6 and 7 timers

Il be starting to get a bit nervous if he wins the badger beers

Already got more than my moneys worth out of the bets so even if he wins no more races has given me an afternoons entertainment
