    Does anyone else in here struggle with abbreviations ?
    It's probably just my brain but when I see abbreviations used without prior use of the full name and I have to think about what horse is being mentioned for any length of time I switch off, and I want to read and understand everyones comments/views.
    Probably just me...

            Agree 100%. It's lazy writing but to be fair I guess most are rushing, or texting from their phones - with the expectation that they assume we all immediately now which horse to which they are referring. Don't let me go on about grammar and punctuation as well.

            I may be shot down for this but I think it is a young person thing.

                Allegories De Vassy vs Maskada vs Instit at Clonmel on Thursday.

                Allegorie De Vassy has to give lumps of weight away to her rivals, it will be a tough ask, first time out.

                  Potentially one to consider for Win Today and Festival? Odds might not be great, but if they seem reasonable and she wins, would surely be massive, massive favourite for the Mares Chase?

                    Not sure if it’s already been posted, but has everyone signed the affordability checks petition

                    Archived Petition: Stop the implementation of betting affordability/financial risk checks

                    We want the Government to abandon the planned implementation of affordability checks for some people who want to place a bet. We believe such checks &#8211; which could include assessing whether people are &#8216;at risk of harm' based on their postcode or job title &#8211; are inappropriate and discriminatory.


                    Having lunch with my local MP on Fri, so will give him an ear bashing on it

                        Please feel free to explain how bookmakers are effectively unregulated and have created the massive financial hole that is destroying racing by preventing recreational punters from having a bet just because they happen to have backed a winner or two...

                          I certainly will …..but we def don’t want affordability….could create all sorts issues for ante-post

                              Yeah, nortonscoin200 is currently suffering a two month holiday in the 30 degree heat of Greece, drinking beer and eating locally caught seafood while lying on a beach, so the consensus is 365 have cottoned onto his location.

                              ps - he was looking for sympathy yesterday, I won't share my response....
