        Charles Byrnes horse well backed this morn pulled out the race also. would make you sick.

                    • Patrick has form for going round the outside in bumpers at Ballinrobe when he thinks he's got the best horse. I remember him doing the same thing on Robin De Carlow. It's a very sharp track and he likes to keep them out of trouble.

                      • Off to Gordon's open morning on Saturday. Will report back. Anyone else Irish based going?

                        Thank you for signing up for Gordon Elliott’s Open Morning* taking place on Saturday, 2nd September.

                        Gordon’s team is looking forward to welcoming you on the day.

                        This event kicks off at 10 am sharp, please be on time. Please note that the yard will not be open to visitors before 9.30am.

                        If guests are joining you, please ensure they have also registered in advance at www.racehorseownership.ie/openmorning

                        Dress Code: Dress for the weather with appropriate footwear. Bear in mind should you wish to walk to the gallop it could be muddy and wet underfoot.

                        Children are welcome but remember this is a working farm so please be mindful of the animals, do not feed them, and be respectful of the surroundings. We ask you not to bring dogs.

                        Open Morning Schedule:
                        10.00am Welcome & Tour of Yard and Facilities
                        10.30am Head down to the gallops
                        11.00am Parade of champions: Tiger Roll, Silver Birch & Don Cossack
                        11.30am Farrier & Vet Talk
                        12.00pm Coffee & Cake
