Especially when the flat boys cry about how uncompetitive the grade 1’s are over jumps.

Relentless noise in recent seasons about prize money and how it’s to blame for the exodus of horses to Asia, America and Australia and there’s probably 100k going unclaimed in the one race alone…

It's one of my 2 favourite race days, and don't miss a year going, mostly for the 3 Group races

          They can be pointers toward
          ● 2yr old Group 1 races
          ● St Leger
          ● British Champions Day
          ● Arc de Triomphe
          ● Breeders Cup

Really poor turnouts of 15 runners in those 3 races

Dont imagine I will have a bet post decs on any of them now.

Just enjoy watching them, and finding out where the key horses go afterwards.

          Paddington - Arc,
Would be wonderful to hear, if he were to win on Wednesday
"Journeys to Glory, breathing in his head".

….just to note, Paddington looks like going off odds-on but Hills offer evs Ryan Moore to ride a winner on Weds. They also offer Paddington 16-1 win today & Arc.

            • Does anyone have a view on Friends? I'm thinking more generally at the moment as opposed to having an eye on a specific race at Cheltenham, albeit it may well be the mares novice if anything at all.

A Mullins mare who made her debut over hurdles on Sunday at Tramore over 2miles. She beat Connell's Hashtag Pretender (114 RPR) by 15 lengths in convincing fashion. The two broke clear of the field, she marked HP all the way round before turning the screw three out and pulling away. She didn't jump well either (without making a big mistake) whereby you'd think there's plenty of improvement in her.

Before that, she won her debut bumper at Wexford in July. The form of that race is working out nicely with the 3rd and 5th having won a bumper NTO and the 6th winning on her debut over hurdles too.

I wondered if she might be a dark one for the Royal Bond. We know Willie likes to run a mare in that and often one he's had out in the summer. Her fitness and form might be enough to make up for a gap in class to the very best horses in the race.

Alternatively, Friends might be one for next year. She looks like a chaser in the making, a nice scopey thing who has little respect for her hurdles. By Mahler out of a Presenting mare so bred for the bigger obstacles too.

First thoughts, having read the opening line. Was "Jennifer Aniston's nipples"
Still going strong on "The Morning Show" which is a tenuous link.

I then quickly thought of Lobos and his use of the phrase "sweet cherry nipples" which every time he uses this I automatically think of his excited face, which I've never seen. But the imaginary face is probably worse than reality. I fucking hope so anyway !

The brain is an amazing organ.

Haha. That's why I adopted COD's bolding of the horses name ... because otherwise it read like a general enquiry about the TV show, or even companionship.
