If he’s Evens or bigger, then I’m hoping to use him in a double or two
Looks like he wants to run at Galway I reckon.
Not your typical Cheltenham profile though

Got good chasing credentials and likely to get talked up accordingly in stable tours.

Other chasing types from Mullins that could improve significantly for a fence include Shanbally Kid, Spanish Harlem, Embassy Gardens, Seabank Bistro.

All had more disappointments than successes over hurdles but likely to prove better chasers. Probably not legends in the making though.
I'd say HDS has the most potential IMO, and has already broke his maiden.

Noticed Willie has got a couple of chase runs into Winter Fog also, could be an option for him to go for the NH chase if they have nothing else that progresses. Obviously a horse that can run over any trip really.
Indiana Dream is the under-the-radar Mullins horse that I think could improve for fences too. Inexperience is the thing that worries me with him as I was hoping they’d get him out again. Looked the part on his one start for Mullins and definitely looked a chaser. He’d be another dark one on my shortlist for the BANC.

Yeah, I remember his maiden win, and looks promising as a potential graded chaser with Mullins behind him. Less exposed than most that I mentioned too, but I suppose that can go both ways.

Agreed, he could be a Graded summer/autumn chaser, Willie usually has a few of those each season, not usually those he expects to be his best in March, though.

I'd imagine Hercule de Seuil will stay over two miles. He runs far too free for Willie to step him up in trip. He's very much an Un des Sceaux type that may be kept to small field chases at home until they stop him being a headcase. He could end up being a Ryanair type in time, but not a Turners type in my mind. I'm with Sax, in that he should be a short-term money spinner and perfect for roll ups.

Embassy Gardens and Shanbally Kid are the two on that list that I'll be keeping an eye on. I think Emabassy Gardens will end up being a proper stayer. Shanbally is harder to assess, but he actually may want to go back in trip. You have to forgive too much with the other too now. Seabank is a definite no, and Spanish Harlem is still a novice over hurdles so I wonder if they may start all over again with him given he'll only be 6 next Festival.

I can't have Winter Fog. In fact I think watching him he's got some sort of problem going on. He's jumping right over fences, and then did the same dropped back into a hurdle (that he won), and I don't remember seeing him do that before. Also he looked anything but a natural over fences. He was all over the place, and slow at times. He'll definitely improve for a step up in trip though, and if Willie sorts his jumping out, he'd cause a re-think.

            • Just saw Belfast Banter won some Grade 1 race over in America! 16/1, how did I miss that!

Rare for me to dare correct you good sir but I’m sure Spanish Harlem isn’t a novice over hurdles anymore.

No indeed, and thanks for correcting me Jackie. Willie bought him as a winner already out of France. That's the problem not checking, and relying on memory when you no longer can!

                    • Based on a reply by one of the owners of Facile Vega it looks like chasing is the plan next season, just if anyone was wondering.

She replied to one of the chaps from 'The Finishing Line' podcast.

I have just got him in a winning double with the winner at Killarney (16.45) and no cash out.

                        • I think the only ones with proper cashouts are BFR/PP

365 remove on a whim for antepost Cheltenham bets.

They may open up the cashout again on Mr.P though.

They feel like an "Okey-Cokey" Bookmaker on Cheltenham Cashouts

                          • In my view, betting with cash-out in mind is a short cut to the poorhouse because it can be withdrawn at any time. I only ever bet if I like the chances of success compared to the odds. If, at some stage, cash-out becomes available I'll consider it, particularly if it's the final leg of an accumulator but I can't recall a single occasion where I've actually pushed the button.

I can see its uses when building a book but it really takes active management and there's no point in bitching if its use is withdrawn without notice.

                              It’s a book-builders must, I think. archie

For me, when I back antepost, I never expect it to be there if/when I need it, and bet those I hope never to need Cashout on.
(Sometimes that doesn’t go as planned of course)
