Yeah on Imp et Passe, im sure that they will go for the CH and if beaten they might step him up depending the performance. Nicky also said that Mister Coffee will win the national!! lol. He was a bit tipsy to say the least so not sure how to take all that he said! He mentioned that Shishkin has been doing dressage!!! Who knows if thats true lol

….well Lobos is very keen on Good Land & I am tempted to include him in the Yankee but there is a few dissenting voices. I must stay strong

'He could make up into a Gold Cup horse' - Barry Connell dreaming big with his exciting Grade 1 pair. Barry Connell believes Good Land could one day be a Gold Cup contender as he prepares to unleash him alongside stablemate Marine Nationale at Cheltenham.
I'm not going to argue with Barry......he's a proper feisty sort.
Turners to Gold Cup........ been used before I believe........

I love latching onto one big time . It's worked in the past most recently with Honey on a couple of occasions and Galvin. Good Land can be the next one.

Think he's a very sensible single play at least. As looks the most likely target and the race is set to cut up badly from the current look of the market at least. Can understand the concerns of how good he actually is, but if he can jump reasonably he'll be winning a novice chase and getting cut in a few months time, while others drop out the market for various reasons. Be surprised if he's not single figures at some point.
May be a case of trading a position before he runs in a graded novice chase mind. Depending what else goes chasing and/or looks lovely to step up from 2 mile... Which would put me off a bit for a Yankee.

Hercule de Seuil only priced up by Sky for the novice chases. And 20-1 not great value.
Got good chasing credentials and likely to get talked up accordingly in stable tours.
Other chasing types from Mullins that could improve significantly for a fence include Shanbally Kid, Spanish Harlem, Embassy Gardens, Seabank Bistro.
All had more disappointments than successes over hurdles but likely to prove better chasers. Probably not legends in the making though.
I'd say HDS has the most potential IMO, and has already broke his maiden.
Noticed Willie has got a couple of chase runs into Winter Fog also, could be an option for him to go for the NH chase if they have nothing else that progresses. Obviously a horse that can run over any trip really.

If he’s Evens or bigger, then I’m hoping to use him in a double or twoLast edited by Saxon Warrior; 19 July 2023, 08:33 PM."Journeys to Glory, breathing in his head".
