Yeah they’d have been better off with stable jocks or the best available.

Any welcome ideas from those that have been there and seen it and done it all to enjoy the Tuesday the best I can ? Enjoy the roar and enjoy the view of the final fence and the finish is most important to me and the Tuesday is my favourite day, This will be my last time at Cheltenham as I now live in Australia. Your expertise and experience most appreciated, Jim
          FFS Jim !

You said you'd got all four days sorted the last time you were on here.
I'm guessing you're not human, but a human response may save you from being deleted.

          PS.
I'm coming over for the Melbourne Cup this year, can you send me a Map of the route from the airport ?, I'd like to go via Ramsay Street though (big fan of bouncer) !, so a route incorporating that would be ideal.
          Cheers.

A few years back he was retained by Barry Connell. He’d have probably got Marine Nationale beat.

                    • Flat related but would appreciate people’s views… I have Military Order in Saturday’s Lingfield Derby trial at the end of an ante post treble and the first 2 legs have won… because Saturday’s race has been switched to the all weather and the race has been reopened, Unibet have voided the third leg and settled the bet. I thought ante post rules only voided such a bet on a venue change? …I would much prefer the bet to stand even though I don’t know for sure that MO will still be running… thoughts?

I’m a little surprised at the voiding of the bet but I suppose they consider the change of track a change of venue, which would definitely void the vet…

                        • The distance on the trial has also changed from 1.3 to 1.4 Aswel as the change of surface so other than it been at Lingfield in name the whole race has totally changed conditions

                          • Cheers chaps, guess it’s a bit of an oddball situation that isn’t explicitly covered in the rules… just annoys me that some Bookies never seem to rule in favour of the punter

That’s a good point and not one I was aware of.
Any material change to the race conditions and they will void, and a distance change certainly comes into that category.

Morley Street Invest some of the winnings on the horse for the Derby and hope he wins 10l on Sat ?

Typical bloody bookies. It would have been more customer friendly for them to have given you the choice but obviously they are thinking of themselves as always. Hope for your sake it wasn't too much of a life changer.
