Yeah you'd imagine he'll split up his best but with the abundance he appears to have going into next season it's possible some might clash, all being well with Redemption Day I'd say he'll go Supreme and I do really like him for that all being well. Mirazur West also looked very decent on debut and no doubt they'll be at least a few more to throw into the mix. I guess the opposition might become a factor too if there's a standout in another yard. If Nicky doesn't have a good one to fire at the Supreme then the Ballymore could again be quite hot on paper with the talking horses around at the moment.

All ante post bets placed are effectively considered losers as the bet shows no return until settlement, so these restrictions will have a huge impact on the ante post industry, I’d suggest even the most conservative punters in here will be over the125 quid threshold, will have an enormous impact on the industry and on how we all approach Cheltenham sadly unless of course you are comfortable sharing your most private financial information with strangers…

This may be a silly question but do you happen to know if the 125 loss is taken on a bookie by bookie basis or would this be a 125 loss across any and all online accounts?

        • Ballyburn a keen going sort, showed some pace there on decent ground. Think 2m on good to soft round Cheltenham would be ideal, Supreme looks the obvious candidate to me.

Tullyhill would prefer a bit more of a trip and a bit more cut according to Patrick, Ballymore I think.

On them both at 12s, will take my chance

I personally like Tullyhill for the AB and Ballyburn is the head scratcher as he showed way more pace today than on debut.
Agree. The way he quickened away from them was really impressive and a tad surprising after what he showed first time up.

Bookies can only know your activity with them so yes theoretically you could have 10 accounts and use them all up to 125 per months and suffer no consequences, but who has 10 unrestricted accounts ?

Someone said earlier that if you bought the racing post every day it is more than the proposed 125 trigger point…

That's the way I'm swaying but as Monty Pass kindly reminded me, Redemption Day if ok could be a big player in the Supreme especially the way he pushed Vega at Punchestown.

What if, like me, 90% of bets are placed in shop. How will I be affected??

                  • Patrick mentioned Ballymore could be an option in his Sporting life interview

                    • Big money splashed around again at the Sales tonight with Gordon leading the way as usual.

The headline goes to what I think is a record (500k) for a mare, in the form of Qualimita. She obliterated a field last week and was expected to be top lot. I don’t like PTP mares for the MHN but she could be the one to break my rule. She’s also got a wonderful pedigree too from a bloodline I like to follow and has produced some very decent horses.

Thanks for the clarification Ista, I think my wife might soon have 10 unrestricted accounts... but in all seriousness sounds like it will become an absolute mission to get a bet on sooner or later and that comment about buying the Racing Post every day and exceeding the loss limit is laughable! The whole situation really beggars belief.

No, the review is digital/online, it doesn’t cover shop or on course betting…

Pathetically flawed then. Ridiculous waste of time.

                            • Ballyburn looks a relentless galloper ala galopin not a 2 miler to miler to me

He got outpaced for a few strides today then galloped them into the ground

His pedigree is also heavily stamina laden

The 125 limit will be a check you won't even know about

I imagine they will check credit scores of everyone losing that much

                                It's the ?1000 loss a day or ?2000 90 days that'll be more invasive

That's how I read it anyway
