Anyone know of any tipsters (other than Hugh Taylor) who’s selections always take big price cuts after they are put up? I’m sure there are plenty of them whose selections get trimmed now and then but any others who immediately get slashed like Taylor’s do?

Absolute Notions will go for the novice hurdle over three miles, while Zanahiyrwill run in the Aintree Hurdle again. He seems to enjoy taking his time these days.
"Jazzy Matty is in good form and could run in the Grade 1 juvenile hurdle. I could have three or four in the bumper and a few others as well so the team is shaping up nicely.”

I'll stick with fresh horses that avoided the Festival.
Could have gone close….

Aye, there's definitely a few suggestions that the Cheltenham runners were maybe less favoured.
The Mares Novice hurdle result highlights that. As much as the winner wasn't out of place. The next three home also skipped the festival and were 80/1, 66/1 and 20/1. Meanwhile the 9/2, 5/1 and 8/1 shots that ran at the festival were beaten out of sight. Maybe the mares novice as the festival was really poor but I'm inclined to think they were disadvantaged at Fairyhouse for having run at Cheltenham.
ADV, Hunters Yarn, Blood Destiny all beaten at relatively short prices after running at Cheltenham as well. Although none beaten too far, all were slightly disappointing imo.
And Flame Bearer beat a lot of more fancied (and better tbh) horses that were coming off the back of Cheltenham runs.
It probably needs a proper look like but my initial reaction was that Cheltenham runners had underperformed, slightly.Last edited by Benjy23; 11 April 2023, 09:33 AM.
