It's the same bumper as Chasing Fire won last year, but comparing the two performances visually, is like chalk and cheese. The way IB hits the line is incredible. The jockey couldn't pull him up. What he did after the line reminded me of two recent forum favourites (I won't mention their names for fear of hyperbole). I am not sure of course records etc. for Wetherby but 3mins 48secs on soft ground seems quick to me. That was a truly striking performance. I'll be very interested in his RPR. Worth noting the right horse was in behind; Doc McCoy (RPR 104, 107), and he seemed to run his race.
After the race, the performance gets the usual Twitter reception; Josh Stacey gives him the eyes, a Cheltenham branded account calls him Constitution Hill's brother etc. It was therefore surprising to see Denise, Hills and PP offer 50/1 about him for the Supreme. His price won't go out between now and autumn as he's being put away. 50/1 with cash out seems fair to me. Sometimes you have to trust your eyes.

It's rare for Murphy to run his better novices over further. We also know he won't be seen again until next year now.

Even a year out, Indeevar Bleu has a bit going for him I'd say, especially for a 50/1 shot.
Sire needs little introduction now, but anyway, he has produced horses that have gone well over 2m hurdles at the festival (Constitution Hill (won Supreme & CH), Blue Lord (was going to finish 2nd in the Supreme), Mick Jazz (3rd in CH), his grand dam produced a Supreme Novice Hurdle winner (Al Ferof) and he's just won like a very smart horse, in a decent enough time. I'm not going to say he's beat anything of real note, but he could have won by 20+ lengths, I feel, and had he also not been green probably 30+ lengths. I'm expecting an RPR around the 116-119 mark.
He's a better price, IMO, than plenty ahead of him in the market up to around the 25/1 mark.

Is there any info on Apple's of bresil? Barry connell needs closing watching going forward, wondering if there's been much chat on this one, only know was originally going for a bumper in fen but for whatever reason this was not the case.
