Not knocking people who do it enjoy it that way at all, I just am surprised anyone on here would play it that way... I could be wrong. I have been at least once before.
One liner sentence !!!?? With 8 places in the opener I'll be studying the form for at least an hour to pick out that 50/1 shot that finishes 8th, 40 lengths off the winner. Great pleasure to pick up on those bets.

Realistically we all bet on the day before we started doing antepost and if you can, it's good to look at things with fresh eyes. Particularly true before Skybet dropped the offer to ?2, an outsider may catch the eye because of the benefit of money back where as antepost they maybe wouldn't.
Weather changes everything as we all found out on the Wednesday last year. No one expected that deluge when placing their AP bets , most of which placed banking in G/S ground.

        • I thought Wee Willie Mullins had come out with a target for Winter Fog which i had backed in the wrong race but cant find the bet now. Anyone recall what race it goes for?

          • Banjaxed might be a bit overpriced in the next at Kelso for Lorna fowler. Only beat 4l off levels on hurdling debut by ho my lord who’s highly rated, 40/1 today could be value. Posting here as will probably be seen by more in the next 5 mins than the daily tips thread

Good run, unlucky not to collect there!

Got excited for a second thinking he might win, or at least finish in the 4. I’ve backed worse 50/1 shots for sure

                        You beat me to it.

Who did, and where they got it from should be easy enough to find,
Just need to check emails (including deleted/binned) - after all they weren’t posted were they?

Doesnt look like the BHA cappers did anything wrong, just did the figures as normal.

Eyes could focus on the Jockey Club Racecourses/Cheltenham - and/or Weatherbys.

Nick Luck presented the Press Day and said he didn’t see the figures until 3 minutes before he started speaking at it,

Good news is the BHA isn’t going to release info to racecourses like this again, to avoid a data breach, and the public will get it at the same time as everyone else does again.

The whole Racecourse Press Day needing a 24-hours embargo on public info, was a bad joke, prone to this sort of problem, and should never have been approved in the first place.

Thankfully Fat Jockey got themselves sorted out quickly, in case any eyes fall on the date breach going online.

                        Well done mods

                              • If you're superstitious, you won't like me mentioning this, but isn't it amazing just how few high profile non-runners we've had so far? Ferny Hollow and L'homme Presse are the only two that spring to mind. The Nice Guy is another that we could throw into that bracket, i suppose.

In years gone by we were getting casualties on a daily basis at this stage.

p.s don't blame me if a few high profile horses don't make it. This post and injury setbacks aren't linked!
