There's a newsagents about 200 yards from the entrance to the course car park, pretty much next to the newsagent is a driveway (fella will be outside taking your cash) which leads to a huge back garden and accommodates about 50 cars, he might be ?15, and if it's dry there's an entrance at the bottom of his garden to the pathway that leads to the course.
    But yes, get there early...
Thanks Ista. Wasn't sure where that was leading to there... Sounds great 200 yards away be plenty of people taking up his parking great shout. Thanks will weigh it up with the group.

Really clever people can post pictures and maps and everything on here, sadly I can't.

If you look at google maps there's a small road called 'Chase View' off New Barn Lane, the house/garden you need to aim for is in New Barn Lane pretty much equidistant between the newsagents and Chase View (50 yards from each ?).
And I said get there early, last year we decided to spend a couple of mornings/lunches in Chipping Campden and drive down to the course much later (12.30pm), there's plenty of traffic around the racecourse at that time but you'll still get in this garden and you're 5 mins from the course.
      You'll be OK....

Very annoyed that they have the nerve to Embargo ratings to share among the trough munchers (as per Animal Farm)
Should not be permitted that information is withheld from the public to benefit a Press Day.

Have the Press Day on the day the ratings are released, you oinkers.

I don't suppose they've said anything about it yet? I think I saw Spectre say he was going to bring it up also

            Yes, I think he is.

I raised with the Handicappers at the BHA on Tuesday but they said it wasn’t down to them, they produced the figures for Monday evening, to be ready for publishing on Tuesday at midday.

The embargo is someone else’s call - I don’t know whose

Jockey Club/Cheltenham Racecourse, asking the BHA to wait a day?

The publishing date for the weights was always Tuesday 28th in the BHA Pattern book and Weatherbys Digital Race Diary etc etc., right up until this week.

To change it at the last minute and make it Weds 1st March, for their own oinkers parade, is an insult.

What other sport would think that’s a good idea? and just do it?

Let alone one so dependant on betting for their income/prize money, to shut out the punters who provide that money,
Its not a bookmakers levy, that pays prize money, it’s a levy on profits made from punters that makes prize money.

Bookmakers don’t just magic the cash out of the air.

They should just think on that a bit more, before they have a Press Day 24 hours too late

            • The trouble is bookmakers' profits come from punters who don't know how many pounds are in a stone, and to who an extra day means nothing. The bookies are just getting more time to prepare themselves for people like you that don't contribute to the levy and actually take from it. You should all hang your heads in shame,if it wasn't for the bookies weeding you all out and closing you down, there'd be no profits and therefore no prize money, and no racing. Shame on you

              • For anyone with some of Henry's horses backed, like Bob Olinger or Tellmesomething then it may be worth looking at his ATR stable tour.

Annoying you haven't put up the link

What am I paying you for?!

The Knockeen trainer regularly picks up honours at Prestbury Park and is out for more with a cast starring past Festival heroes Envoi Allen, Minella Indo and Quilixios.

                      • Cashout still there for TMSG with 365 if anyone needs it. God knows why I held onto her this long:

I don’t think she’s going to go to Cheltenham. She is getting the hang of chasing, but it might just come a bit soon for her at this early stage of her chasing career. She’ll stay at home and stick to novice company.

                        • As someone who won't touch the handicaps until declarations, I really can't get too worked up about the delay in releasing the handicap weights. Surely most people are able to guess to within a pound or two what the majority of horses will get. You need to be 10lb well in to win a Festival handicap so that pound or two is usually irrelevant.

Enough non TOTAL committal comment on Honey' to say she still as a bit of a chance of going Churdle. Anything else is pointless ("if she owes nobody anything")
