Some interesting numbers from Keenan and Delargy on twitter today
Horses that failed to make the four on a run within 6 weeks of the Festival are 6/315 in Gr1s at the meeting since 2003. Winners with Vanillier, Labaik, Black Hercules, Uxizandre, Lord Windermere and Voy Pour Ustesdes. 27 placed.
7/63 2/55
3/55
10/66
5/61
That's the winners/runners figures for Cheltenham Festival runners who had prepped at DRF in last five years.
Interestingly the 2/55 was run on good ground

2 bookmakers have asked me to complete some survey about Safer gambling. Is this a trap? With affordability checks and what not, I'm hesitant to complete these and something coming off them! Anyone else received the invite to complete these?

There can't be many that have a run after this weekend (4 weeks or so out) that go on to win in March.
….there’s always the Imperial Cup.

Bit of a random one and hopefully someone on here knows the answer, say if you backed a horse antepost and on the day all other horses withdraw and you end up with a walkover, do you get paid out on the winner? Or does the bookmaker void the bet?

Though I can’t ever remember a race that is priced up ante post has ended with a walkover, but officially there is a winner of the race albeit by walkover…
