That's the BHA schedule but doesn't match Liam's time.

                    • Lingfield off today. A full week with no racing on turf in the UK. Really disappointing for Lingfield that winter million is a good idea.

                      • From memory, this immediate post Christmas/New Year period has always been the most likely time for abandonments. Surely trainers, and owners, have to have this under consideration as they plan programmes for their horses. In reality though, we've had a week just pre Christmas and now a week in the middle of January . We've got through it lightly and hopefully that should be that for the really cold weather.

Yep. It's the time most trainers jab their horses as well so it's normally a quiet time for the quality animals.

                          • Fair to say the Gordon Elliott yard are not exactly firing right now...

1 winner from 38 runners in the last fortnight. A strike rate of 3% - five beaten favourites during that spell, albeit Calico being the only odds on shot in that group.

Do you know why all the Bective Stud horses got pulled yesterday for Elliott?

Needs to find some form by the start of February for the DRF but Mullins usually blows him away there anyway.

No idea. Saw Gavin Lynch put a tweet up about that but sure it got deleted - he didn't mention any reason why though...
