He name checked Bet Victor, Betfair Sportsbook and Skybet that would justice refunds all bets on horses that were unable to travel so others will follow suit.

He actually tried to make the point that the Irish horses can effectively be backed as if NRNB but I think that could be a dangerous game too play as they could still get injured.

Justice refunds at times have only applied to singles with some bookmakers

I think it wont matter anyway as legislation will likely be made in the industry for this scenario.

Haha, the short version is that whilst discussing the Harry Fry trained, Metier, my mind was taken back to one of his previous horses, Neon Wolf who is a horse I was absolutely in love with. If I was joining the forum now, my name would be "Neon Wolf" and this would be my idea of a clever/subtle/cool profile picture.

The long version just waffles about why I like him so much, some of the other horses I also love, and some stories about backing Neon Wolf - but I'll save those for a lonely summers eve.

Of course fewer UK horses go to Irish festivals but it's not unknown for multiple UK horses to take in the Irish National and the Punchestown festival has numerous low grade events which will never attract UK challengers, 13 races with a total prize pot of 30k euros or less, they still have 7 bumpers across the five days.
There are still a number of UK horses that take in the bigger races but agreed the total number of challengers is nowhere near the Irish visiting Cheltenham in March...
