I think Gordon Elliott has done well to get music drive into a position where he can be competitive in a cheltenham handicap(only 1 more hurdle run required), I think it will be very telling who purchases him. Currently available @ 20/1 any race with Hills

                  • ….good to see Kevin Sheedy sponsoring a race at Fairyhouse today promoting awareness of Bowel Cancer. What a fine footballer he was.

                      • The Cheltenham Exchange Vs. The Fat Jockey Podcasters. It will be like reliving the testosterone and alcohol fuelled 90's rivalry of Blur Vs. Oasis - but a little less attractive!

Said that to Matty after recording the other night. Amazing left foot!! My first ever Spurs game...Goodison September 1982, Sheedy absolutely destroyed us. At that moment I hated him!!

….I’m sure I was at that game, as I was for the midweek game at WHL in ‘85 when Everton won & virtually secured the title against a very good Tottenham side. Sheedy couldn’t run very fast but was a genius with that left foot. He’s had Bowel cancer in recent years, good to see him in in the last few days looking so well & I expect he’ll be over at Fairyhouse today.

Great news that he's on the mend. Seem to remember that Sheedy was actually born in Wales! Boy we missed out on another fine left winger there!!!

A left foot that could peel a satsuma.
