Hardly groundbreaking but Willie confirms to David Jennings - Galopin goes for the John Durkan after he was scratched from Kempton this morning.

I have yet to hear him speak as I only turn Upping the Ante on for the first five seconds just to see the clobber on Dineen.

Wide open now for some outfit to deck him out in some decent clobber

Some of you may remember I had cancer a while back, first scan done and all clear. Puts everything in perspective.
Anyway I’m going to Dublin festival for first time and was flight gets in 2 hrs before first race. Doubt we will have time to get to hotel and back to racecourse. Can anyone say if there have luggage lockers at course, and what’s the best way to get from airport to racecourse. Taxi or other means?

Congrats on your great news, regarding Dublin a Taxi would be your best option given your time constraint(30 min car journey give or take - advise always use one of the apps like FreeNow or Uber in Dublin) local taxis perched outside airport will bring you half way around the country and ride your wallet at same time.
Public transport route would take well over double that time and require multiple buses - there’s a direct air coach route from hotel not far from course but again well over an hour long journey.

If you’re staying in Dublin City & traveling for the second day get a Luas to the Red Cow & a taxi from there it’ll be about a tenner.Last edited by SeanRock; 29 November 2022, 09:10 PM.

Quickest way is Airport taxi that takes the motorway (m50) About 40 minutes
Could cost about 60 Euro,Not too bad if there’s a few sharing,Steep if you’re traveling solo
There is luggage storage facilities located beside the cloakroom
You’re luggage might be searched on entry to the course
Be careful if you’re returning on the Monday as it is an official Bank Holiday here which will affect public transport schedules and Taxi tariffs
Congrats on your good news, might see you there for a pint
