The secret is NOT to ask for a price at Laddies/Corals. Just pass your slip over with the online price on and 9/10 times they'll just put it through without any questions asked. Never had an issue being paid out.

Anyone else annoyed that Gordon's double declared a few horses.
Don't care about the antepost side of it so much but makes the betting for the meeting a pain in the arse.
Whichever way the ground goes it's a trciky one to justify, especially if the official going for Friday and Saturday ends up being the same.
And if it's the same ground tomorrow as when he declared Wednesday and he pulls any of them, then that's not great either.
I'd have already had him on the phone asking what the fuck is he playing at if I worked at the BHA or whoever monitirs this sort of thing.
This sport is for punters primarily.
Not trainers piss balling about !

Just asked my parents who are staying in Prestbury for the weekend (and not going racing - don’t ask!).
Apparently in the morning “it was tipping and rained for a couple of hours heavily. It stopped this afternoon but there were more showers later.”
That’s about the best I’m going to get out of them!

Few contrasting forecasts but heavier rainfall looks like it's due to start about 8am tomorrow.
