Have asked my stepson to talk to his mate to see if he can get any info on Stage Star. Even though hes with Nicholls we know the owners wanna go to the fest so if going over a fence he is of interest to me.Comment

He's going chasing, but was back in a bit later than others so unlikely to start off where Nicholls would usually start his better novices. Had a serious ulcer problem in the Spring and has had a wind op (shock) over the summer.Originally posted by somer1 View PostComment

J Stacey on Facile Vegas full sister: Is already twice the size of Quevega’ and is expected to be seen this season. She’s enjoying a break after a summer of pre-training and will remain unnamed until ready to run. Quevega’s Camelot filly is in pre-training but won’t run this season

This is for stupid questions tab but keep it here giving the context - is there restrictions on how late a horse can be named before it’s first race? i.e X number of days/hrs prior to the entries opening for a particular race.. any experts wish to educate me!Comment

Whilst having a well-earned break from the latest 'can't sleep at night' Netflix drama Dahmer, I watched that November 2021 interview with Jess Stafford and Willie Mullins at some sort of dinner where she asked him to give her a horse for Cheltenham. After a bit of banter he told the audience about an unraced and unnamed gelding by Walk in The Park / Quevega and how he would take the hair out of your head on the gallops. The horse, of course, turned out to be Facile Vega. During the interval he referred to a 3-Y-O owned by his wife Jackie but quickly dismissed it as one for another day. I don't suppose anyone knows which horse he was referring to?
Going back to the Dahmer theme, I hope Spectre didn't name his horse after him
.

Well the Racing Post app has now been updated. A bit too cluttered from what I've seen so far.
Not really gone through it properly but the one thing I have found so far missing is that you can look at P2P results when on a horses profile like you could before which is really annoying.Comment

Just had a Cadburys 'Perky Nana'.
Probably one of the best pieces of confectionary I've tasted for a long time.
Almost as good as a 'Star Bar', which is still number 1.
Banana Jammie dodgers were not very good.
Probably shouldn't mess with Jammie Dodgers.
Like the Baldies in 'The Wanderers', nobody fucks with them either.
