Not sure if it's my gradual creep up the spectrum or that I'm a curmudgeon.
I should stop looking really. It's my own fault.

why you'd made the bet etc. But most times i think this is covered / discussed in the relevant threads .
I expect mine is crap , but i don't make a diary entry for every bet . I just update the main Page .
In fact i just spent the whole morning trying to tidy it all up , sort all the scraps of paper out !! . - Ima Old Fashioned Twat !.
And i Do read all the diary updates , at least once a week..
Last but not least Q , what's a Curmudgeon ??. When it's at Home ??..

Pretty sure you're too cheerful for full blown curmudgeon status

Read through a few this morning and came to the same conclusion on some. Cheltenham completely pointless to some surely. Must be millionaires from the roll up bets already!
Not sure I really agree with the term / principal of roll ups in general to be honest. But any that aren't put up before the event is completely ridiculous to record. If they're genuine just keep them offline, simple.
There's also some that have very good content though. So harsh to judge the whole section imo. A few are extremely useful and a few others are an interesting read. But as Quevega has said, reading some actually annoys me an unreasonable amount as well

I've a vague memory of the first time I heard the term being used. I'm pretty sure it was in the 60s or 70s and the tipster, Robin Goodfellow, nominated a horse each day where, if it won, the winnings were rolled up on to the next day's selection. Clearly, you could stop whenever you wanted but the Mail always carried on until it lost. They were always very short prices but I seem to remember they got over 20 on one occasion. I think it was actually called the Daily Mail Roll Up.

Another useful post on prixdelahorse by Adam - 100 French imports to IRE/UK this year. As expected Willies stable looks to be jam packed.

wee reminder if you want to rewatch any French replays, French Gallops is your site. Sign up is free, drop the horses name into the search bar and you can go from there. Google translate is native on most devices these days so language barrier shouldn’t be an issue for the old timers!

Vaguely remember ATC being a common thing a while back. I'm very much an outsider these days but not sure that's too common place anymore.
A straight double, or even upwards with no relationship and the non Cheltenham events all being today (with only one Cheltenham selection) makes very little sense imo. But of course, as long as they're put up before the race, that's just a personal betting preference from me.
