It's just a preview, the full version will replace it at 5 pm Monday

      • I haven't even had an email yet. Same thing happened last year so I suppose I better get in touch with them.

        • Jumpers To Follow is already live for me now I've got the link. I assume the same for everyone else, so worth having a look if you were waiting.

I bollocksed up and only bought the book rather than both versions. I've pre ordered One Jump Ahead to compensate the extra waiting on JTF.

            • Those who have bought what I assume is the weatherbys guide, is it worth purchasing? Or is the information provided readily available for free elsewhere (racing post)

              • Interesting to read from Michael Looby on twitter that Gigginstown have some horses in training again with Willie Mullins (Shanbally Kid mentioned). They've certainly scaled back operations over the last 12 or so months but it doesn't look like they're leaving the game anytime soon. Eddie O'Leary has been active in the sales this year also.

I think Shanbally Kid has been highlighted by a few on here maybe for the Bartlett. Could see that 50/1 not lasting much longer

Before their “break” Mullins and Gigginstown sent their top staying novice hurdlers to the Martin Pipe rather than the Bartlett. I know Mullins has sent good horses to the Bartlett since then but it is enough of a question mark for me to be considering any race ahead of the better prices for specific target perhaps.

Stattler being the exception, albeit not Giggs obviously.
It’s a solid point though, unless a horse is completely devoid of any speed and needs all of 3m and more, the M Pipe is a known target for his classier stayers, assuming of course he manages to hide their ability sufficiently….

Yes, that would put me off back Shanbally Kid for the a specific race too, and the 12/1 for any race is a horrible price.
Luck is a dividend of sweat. The more I sweat, the luckier I get.

Absolutely, there was some 16/1 about last night any race when I looked, that wasn’t big enough to tempt me so the fact he has shortened makes him a horrible price in my book too! It’s that time of the year where a positive mention anywhere and the price can collapse!!

Worth remembering that the novices would have to run 4 times instead of 3 for the Martin Pipe now though. Makes that 50/1 a bit more appealing IMO.

You can find the form and video's of each race here:

For those who are not fluent in French and / or the interweb, if you want the form for another horse, just change the name of the horse in the web address using hyphens for spaces. For example if you want to view the form for jakarta macalo it becomes:

Sorry if it sounds a bit condescending to a few but it's meant for old farts like me!
