Has anyone else considered the possibility of a Cheltenham festival behind closed doors and without overseas challengers? Would it still go ahead? In Ireland they would have the Dublin racing festival in Feb.and Punchestown in the Spring. Im going to do some GB based horses only ante post in a few multis just in case.

Yep, anyone who thinks they are running clean is a fool.
The horse feed thing stank of bullshit, as did the O'brien runners pulling out of the arc meeting. This story seemed to fade into nothing.

And Baffert in the US is so full of shit his hairs gone white.

The fact that testing abilities differ within each nation's systems is just bizarre.

If you can load up your horse in the few weeks before heading abroad knowing your own countries testing capabilities and procedures won't pick it up, then you're going to do it. Just got to time it right so that the UK, US or France authorities don't pick it up when you travel.

Binnocular was 100% doped.
I believe the 5 year old trained by the chemist was also.
And thousands of other no doubt.

But I still love racing so not complaining too much, it's just a shame for the ones that are 100% au naturale.

I was 12 so I can’t really remember the race (though I’d have probably thrown a sicky at school to be home for it as was my annual plan). Looking at the Racing Post now though of the race and it looks a weak renewal.

Did he have to improve loads to win it? He did only go off 9/1 and was 1/7 in his previous start before that at Sandown I see.

I'm sure people have a much better understanding than I do too, I think I've got the jist of it though. I remember watching Binocular win in 2010 but I wasn't anywhere near as 'clued up' back then so had no idea of that story at the time. My records only go back to 2011 too, so not sure who I backed and I can't even recall when looking at the field. Not that it matters or makes any difference whatsoever to this tale.
