What tracker do people use?

I've been using the RP one but I'm not continuing my subscription with them.

ATR is ok, I've been using Timeform recently and seems decent but their app is awful on the iPhone.

From an antepost perspective, I prefer irishracing.com to Sporting Life because you get notified about entries.

I've found the ATR one to be ideal for day to day betting. I use to use the gg alert one but it let me down a few times with no updates, plus I found it didn't include all horse for some inexplicable reason. ATR suits me as I get an email around 6-7pm the night before.

Interesting. A few really well rated PTP winners. Should be a cracker if 2 or 3 of them take the start line. Arctic Bresil is one that's been on my radar for a while. Was entered into Henry's 'favourite bumper' won by Bob and JWM previously, but couldn't be declared for some technicality (I can't remember what, but Henry wasn't happy).

In with a genuine chance when falling in the PTP won by Nick Rockett who's also in the bumper. Then a 3/4 length second to Present Soldier in the million pound Maiden - although the 3rd, Master Chewy, has hardly set the world alight in bumpers for NTD.

Based on his two runs, my inclination was AB. Seems a real galloper. But I thought that about JWM too and he ended up in the Ballymore and as I say, Henry intended to run him on the Bob/JWM bumper this year. I've taken the 22/1 with Hills AR and also had a point on both the AB and Ballymore with cash out.

I doubt it.
Even as a member I was refused access into the Best Mate area to watch the Kim Muir (last race Thursday) as it would have enabled a swifter exit to meet our taxi…

Well the dust has settled on another punchestown festival. Went for the first 3 days as per usual. Thoroughly enjoyable and only 75 euros for 3 reserved enclosure tickets early bird.
i appreciate that the quality of racing might not match Cheltenham, but the racing experience is at punchestown is second to none.

I'm considering going next year. Went to DRF this year and really enjoyed it so either back there or Punchestown in 2023.

What are the good points about it? And are the first few days better to go than the last few?

I've watched a handful of races in Ireland the last two days

The bumper at down royal yesterday, horse is allowed to get miles clear and wins

The race that just finished at ballinrobe, horse is allowed to get miles clear and wins

You have the James Gate bumper at punchestown and I have no doubt loads of other examples I've not seen

L'impertinent just got 40 lengths clear with nothing trying to chase, jockey takes a breather and wins easy

At some point you really have to wonder how low the quality of jockeys is, I feel sorry for anyone who actually had a bet in these races I've not had a penny in any of them and the sheer incompetence is annoying me.

We talk about small fields in Britain, but irish fields are just as small really since half the runners are 60 lengths behind after half a mile and not trying lol
