The Gooner was very impressive this month in his PTP win. He could potentially be the top lot with Wrappedupinmay.

Wrappedupinmay was very impressive last weekend, winning by a distance. Vibes beforehand were strong and is apparently very well thought of by the trainer.

Castleward was 3rd to An Tobar by 20l before winning well on his 2nd run.

Fortunate Soldier was 3rd to Act of Authority before winning well 10 days ago.

Heads or Harps is related to Harchibald and won his PTP well.

The front 2 in the bumper on Tuesday, Absolute Notions and Miss Agusta, are also up for sale.

Also looks like some decent mares are for sale.

I see Wrappedupinmay has been withdrawn from the sale today - snapped up privately maybe?

      Yes I imagine so.

Michael Looby has put up Foreverwalking and Jenny Wyse as ones to look at for in addition to The Gooner and Castleward.

Foreverwalking won in what looked a testing affair and was at a crawl towards the end but would have been second if the line was a yard or so further.

I don't really look at the mares PTPs so don't have an opinion on Jenny Wyse except I've seen a few people suggest she's very good.

The Gooner goes to Jonjo for ?280k. We will see him in a class 5 handicap hurdle this time next year FFS.

Castleward for ?120k is a pretty good buy for the price.

Fortunate Soldier goes for ?200k to Highflyer.
Jenny Wyse goes for ?360k to Thom Malone. He wasn't giving her up.

Foreverwalking goes to Willie for ?160k.

Heads or Harps goes for ?135k for Thom Malone. Nice buy.

          • The Land Rover bumper 1-2 go for ?370k and ?235k. Didn't catch the purchasers. ?370k for Absolute Notions seems bonkers money.

              Michael Looby reckons Robcour.

Nicholls, so there's one we can ignore for Cheltenham AP purposes!

Jenny Wyse - Thom Malone / Paul Nicholls

Head Or Harps - Thom Malone / Michael Scudamore

This now according to the Goffs website, so at least we know where they are likely to be trained now too

Thanks. The microphone was awful so was hard to catch some of it. I think Henry was the counter bidder on Jenny Wyse.

                    • A great run today from forum favourite Echoes in Rain to chase Honeysuckle. There's a top class race or 2 in her yet.

I'm still convinced she was the right bet in the Mares at Cheltenham

Interesting idea of not staying pal. Might be worth watching again...

With a proper jockey I'd be fine with her running two and a half.

She seemed to settle a lot better without the hood at Punchestown.

                              • What tracker do people use?

I've been using the RP one but I'm not continuing my subscription with them.

ATR is ok, I've been using Timeform recently and seems decent but their app is awful on the iPhone.
