Crowdfunder - Fat Jockey Forum upgrade

Hello Fat Jockeys,

Upgrading the Fat Jockey forum!: https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/fatjockeyforum

We're looking to upgrade the 'hosting CPU' so I've set up a crowdfunding project.

I would love it if you could donate using the link below to access my project page. Any contribution large or small will be hugely appreciated. Thank you.

…never scored at Filbert St but did at Enderby Town which I think is nearby. Anyway, back to the horses.

Hes a good player on his day, but too often he aint imo.
But my main point would be........if hes in the top six of sports personalities, then imo its been a poor year.

Agree, despite the Euros and an Olympic Games it has been a relatively poor sporting year for individual acknowledgement.

If Emma Raducanu doesn’t get more than 99% of all votes cast then there’s something wrong with the British public

        • I mean Sterling attacking wise carried England to their first final since 1966, seems a pretty good choice to be in the mix personally

          • Raducanu should win and its not close

What she did, winning a major tournament so young, will likely never be repeated by a British tennis player

“Sterling’s on Fire, your defence is terrified nah nah nah nah nah nah nah nah nah nah” - lost count the amount of times I heard & sung that over the Euros.

I can move it but personally think it's in the right place. The thread is all about giving everyone early notification of an injury/setback and improving the chance of cash out. Moving it will slow down reaction time.

                        Let's see what others think.

                        • Though ‘off topic’ a little, has anyone here got a William Hill account and experienced the same problem as me?

I’ve had all my ‘bet boosts’ removed from many bets placed in the last 12 months antepost, and also any potential winnings to be paid back only show the original price - and not with the bet boosts I’ve added.

Bet boosts have been removed from over 30 of my bets.

In 2 instances, I’ve even had bets removed from my slip completely.

Has anyone experienced this huge problem?

Last season this was a huge issue, many on here chased them up about it and they sent us spreadsheets but assured we had bets boosted still, they showed again come March and paid out how they should have showed.

Yes - I have this problem and also the place part of any each way bet is also not included in the potential returns. I have contacted them twice via the chat feature and on both occasions I've been assured that the bets will be settled at the odds that were offered at the time the bet was struck. I was caught out with this last year and it prompted me to keep a spreadsheet of all my bets along with time / date / bet i.d / bet boosts etc. so hopefully if there are any 'discrepencies' upon settlement they can be easily resolved.

                              • Thankyou kindly gents. I’ve got a real few (potential, of course) good ‘uns with ‘Bob Olinger to win Ballymore 21 & Marsh 22 & Ferny Hollow to win Arkle 22@ 300/1 boosted to 393/1. I’ve noticed William Hill not doing their #your odds for Cheltenham this year!

It’s a huge problem having to waste time messaging a foreign country just because their website clearly isn’t good enough and fit for purpose.
