Hello Fat Jockeys,

Upgrading the Fat Jockey forum!: https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/fatjockeyforum

We're looking to upgrade the 'hosting CPU' so I've set up a crowdfunding project.

I would love it if you could donate using the link below to access my project page. Any contribution large or small will be hugely appreciated. Thank you.

I have worked in the category both for bookies and for the safer gambling crew - I am 90% certain bookmakers are engaged in GDPR violating data sharing with PII customer data. Would end up being a massive scandal if true and if the journo class of this country weren't all privately educated toffs who sneer down their noses at us

In the last year I’ve lost 365, boyles, mgm, W Hill, Betfred and star sports! Some just shut me down others wanted bank details which I’m not prepared to give…….. sad times
    That is rubbish
Do you ever go to the bookies in person?

    Would you consider it?

I'd find it hard to be on here without online accounts to be honest!

I'd say that's a fairly familiar story for many in here sadly.
I lost 365 10/12 years ago when I was punting cricket heavy and they were putting up some of the most wrong prices I've ever known, I wouldn't have a problem if they just restricted me for cricket but it's always an across the board restriction so racing goes too.
I've had my betfair (exchange, they haven't allowed me a sportsbook bet since Martin Kaymar win the US Open) deposits restricted this week because I've done a few quid in the last 30 days, they aren't prepared to consider my P&L in the 30 days prior to that or my P&L over the last 20+ years, which confirm the point I made earlier that it's betfair who are populating many of these markets and if you're taking these orders and winning from them they don't like it, when it's punter v punter trading they win 2% regardless, they don't want to play bookmaker on the exchange so are restricting punters who take advantage of that.
I've given up now, plenty of unregulated options...

40% of people who bet, win ?? Do they fuck.

Simply closing ordinary punters down as part of the collateral damage of shutting down a very small percentage of arber's and pro's.

It's within roughly 2 and a half years of the entries deadline.

That's last year's qualification criteria as can't find the current ones but it's the same.

    That would be nice.

May need to win to get in to the Coral Cup. On her current rating (133), she'd only have got in to 3 of the last 12 renewals.

Maybe a TWAF price would be the play, for those not already on that like her.

First time I can recall the RP property reporting on bookmaker restrictions.
I doubt there's anyone in here that hasn't been shut down/restricted, this is a bigger issue than affordability checks in my mind, the good people at the RP are not stupid but they are dependent on bookmakers for advertising revenue so no idea what's changed.
It's a shame no-one is able to accurately calculate what that equates to in lost revenue for the sport, my guess is it would then be fairly obvious why racing has a funding crisis...

I used to work in a role where you'd only get 3 x 10 minute windows on the internet, so I used to open as many pages in that 10 minute as possible to spread my scrolling across the day
