He would be too old anyway now for the champion bumper, with him being 7 in March. Champion bumper is for 4-6 year olds

    • Thanks for posting HTR. Some useful info there particularly with Quixilos who may be Henry's main Arkle horse perhaps ? Guily Billy may yet stay in Bumpers, we'll see. I'll have to get both Grangeclare West and Classic Getaway on board in the Novice hurdles at some stage . No mention of chasing for Ferney so I can only think they'll be taking on the girls in the Champion Hurdle. He'll need to be very good.

Henry did say at the end of August with Quilixios ‘I’d imagine he stays over hurdles’. Though it hadn’t been discussed yet

        • Does very much sound like the Ryanair again for Allaho. Not entirely convinced Willie would give up on a 2 mile program after just the one run at the end of a long season but I'll have to bite my tongue and back him again for the intermediate title.

Saw him the weekend looked an absolute picture on the gallops .
Can't see him over 2 miles again, owners seem to think he won't beat the best of them at that trip. Let him do what he does best, bowl out in front and gallop most into submission.

            • Posting this here as it might be worthy of wider attention...

Is this a system snafu or are Unibet actually going 66/1 the field bar two for the Triumph?

While I don't want to encourage anyone to gamble, there would be a few among the 66/1 shots that would be real value.

From what I've seen on oddschecker, Unibet tend to price up anything but at the same price or lower than other bookies, not seen that though. Might have a little dabble as some of those seem very very good

Oddschecker has been very slow to update this market which is why I went through the bookies sites themselves.

This has to be a huge technical error, right? A few of them can be written off but even comparing to other firms (let alone my prospects list), there are some very generous prices on there...

I don't have an account with them, but other than the top 2 in the market it's showing N/A on the payout so I'm not sure if it is a cock up or not, which I'm guessing it is

                        Ah, same here.

Oh well... When something looks too good to be true...

edit- 50/1 on Matterhorn is still very nice, but that's across the boards so you can go to any of the parasites for that one

                        • Yeah looks to be a technical error as I can’t place a bet with any off them, it just says the odds have changed since although won’t say what to. So it just looks like a visual error on their site. Would have snapped their hands off at Porticello at 66/1

                          • Happens all the time with Unibet different markets show the wrong odds but you can't actually place the bets.
Haven't tried that market but likely the same

                            • I posted the Chev Park stuff but didn't want to put all of Fergs book up just a snippet, hope Ferny goes CH route with his lack of hurdle runs

This type of thing happens on Unibet all the time.

The prices aren’t available they’ve transposed them from somewhere else in error.
