I really find it hard to see the UK capper coming down much from 154, no matter how he runs (one run, two runs maybe) before the Grand National weights.
But he could get runs into him without going up any, too, by finishing 10 lengths back, in 4th (Like a typical Pertemps Qualifier run).
Also need to get my mind round if Ronnie Bartlett would want Galvin to go the X-Country route, or not, too.
If he did, then it would probably start at Cheltenham in November (rather than December which could be softer winter ground).
Gordon has often ran Galvin outside of the winter months, he may keep to that plan this year (hence his entry next week).Last edited by Saxon Warrior; 14 September 2021, 12:06 PM."Journeys to Glory, breathing in his head".

I like the look of Farclas getting 6lb from him, but to be honest anything carrying more than 10st 9lb rarely wins (8 in 10 years win carrying 10st 9lb or less)."Journeys to Glory, breathing in his head".

I am thinking he doesn’t win and retains his 154 mark next week, but anything’s possible at the moment.
Gordon’s not known for wrecking Grand National marks when sending horses their for the first time, so next week is intriguing."Journeys to Glory, breathing in his head".

….made the point elsewhere about a possible GC tilt. 40-1 available with cash-out.
