Got carried away with some letters.
Good mix of Retro, modern, and all around the world.
No need to thank me.
Enjoy.
Would there be much crossover of horse racing concepts in the industry? Like some may be adept in big fields, do well with a quick pace, are more game/genuine than others... Some are precocious sorts whereas others improve with experience and maturity... Some start off as good to firm performers but might go soft or even heavy after a while... Does breeding come into it or is that more for show? Is breeding the same as pedigree? Do some mares perform better while in-foal? What about special equipment like blinkers or tongue straps? Are whips involved and is there a limit to how many times it can be used? Is there a way to calculate lengths per second using pounds?

Having never watched any porn in my life, I am completely unfamiliar with all of these names and would be unable to make a guess at your proclivities or the duration of your engagement with this pastime...

Although watching the performances back would give you the best idea.
Try it ?
It's not addictive at all

Obviously you can't log in, but this should allow you to speak to them without.
They closed my account cos someone accessed it and made random bets on armenian premier league.
Had to fuck about getting a new account with all the extra log in details and authenticator app etc.

To be fair, I think most from your (assumed) generations would struggle with X. The only recent-ish ones I can think of are Xenophon (the Brendan Powell juvenile, not the Coral Cup winner I'm guessing others are referring to) and XPO Universal (who I've met in-horse). Beyond that, the only other one I could think of without cheating was Xaar. Was Xtension a horse? There may have been an Xtra something but I really am just grasping at this stage...

I remember you not being familiar with Jair du Cochet until you said his name out loud so will have to guess mid-2000s. Very eclectic mix... I was going to say the only discipline you missed was flat stayer but despite the Eclipse being ran over ten furlongs, most races in his time were marathons...

First Gold Cup I watched was Kauto Star in 2007.
First festival that I watched all the way through/had time off for was 2010.
Ribet was an odd one, but I do have a collection of little horse statues and he's one so that must have been why. Istabraq was definitely before my time but because of Ista on here that just popped into my head, same with Norton's Coin...
An unusual number of McCain horses in the list too, Up And Go sneaking in to my mind along with Overturn and Peddlers Cross.

This was much easier than I though it would be with only X and Z a bit substandard because of the lack of choice. Having said that both selections readily came to mind which is the point really:
Arkle
Brave Inca
Crisp
Desert Orchid
Florida Pearl
Hardy Eustace
Edredon Bleu
Faugheen
Grittar
Hurricane Fly
Istabraq
Jodami
Kauto Star
Lanzarote
Moscow Flyer
Night Nurse
One Man
Pearlyman
Quevega
Remittance Man
Sprinter Sacre
Tiger Roll
Un Des Sceaux
Viking Flagship
War Of Attrition
Xenophon
Youlneverwalkalone
Zarkandar

It's weird to think that Istabraq and Norton's Coin come straight to mind more as usernames than as horses (not that the posters haven't made those names their own!)
When I was working at a yard, there was a lad who was fully clued up on the sport from the time he had started watching, yet had not heard of Time For Rupert as he missed him by about a year.
Do people generally take much of an interest in those that raced in the past? I must admit that while I was always keen on the great National horses since that was the race that towered over all when I started watching, and was familiar with the names Mill Reef, Nijinsky, Arkle etc, I only really started delving into 80s and 70s racing when I began collecting Timeform annuals and wanted to see what the fuss was about. There's some footage from these eras on youtube, but not to the extent that the 90s onwards are covered - which is really frustrating as I have yet to see for myself if Tingle Creek really was as good a jumper as he has been described.

I've made a point of getting hold of all the materials out there on the greats of the past Kotki. I'm an avid reader so it's a great way to while away the hours. As you say there's very limited video available for the greats of the past, but I'd be fairly sure what is available I've seen at one time or another.
Even the modern greats are worth reading about, horses in the recent past when you think you know the story. The Dorans Pride biography would be a great example. Much of it you would know, but the stories behind the story are fascinating.Luck is a dividend of sweat. The more I sweat, the luckier I get.
